Women, Women, Women!

The two of us decide upon this specific topic because, as women, we have taken notice of the women in history and of the present day women. We believe that we are lucky that the society's perception of women has changed so much with time. In the modern India, women walk around in flip-flops and are not strickly held down by their old traditions of clothings and such. In the old India, women were much more modest and strick about their clothing, how they treated others and their long-held up traditions of form and such. Also, women in the old days were much more stay-at-home family oriented with sowing, cooking, caring for the children and such. In todays society, they have are now seen in the workforce and sometimes as very powerful people in society. Of course, this change is not always bad because without this change, we would not be able to live the lives that we live today as an active participant in society.

Mock Dialouge:

Ishka: Hey!

Vashay: Hello.

Ishka: My name is Ishka. U?

Vashay: "U?" What does that mean?

Ishka: "You."

Vashay: Oh, my name is Vashay.

Ishka: Wats up?

Vashay: I am sewing the clothes for my children and cooking dinner for my family. What are you doing?

Ishka: Just chillin!

Vashay: Chillin? Shouldn't you be helping your mother?

Ishka: Nah. She's doin fine on her own.

Vashay: You should be helping her! You are the daughter. That is your duty. Now head home and help your mother before your father beats you.

Ishka: LoL! My dad would never beat me or he'd be chillin in jail!

Vashay: Your father can beat you if you are not helping your mother. Now go, silly child!

Ishka: I ain't done iming with mah peeps!

Vashay: Iming? Peeps? What is this?

Ishka: Iming= talkin on the comp.

Ishka: Peeps=  mah people.

Vashay: You have people?

Ishka: Duh! They go ot school w/ me.

Vashay: You mean your friends?

Ishka: yea... W.E.

Vashay: W.E.? What is that?

Vashay: You talk funny. Girls in my day were more respectful of their elders.

Ishka: Whatever. U talk like old peeps.

Vashay: EXCUSE ME!

Vashay: You are a very bad child.

Ishka: W.E. G2G. TTYL.

Vashay: What is this?

This image represents the modern women because they have now said "no" to harassment.  Women are no longer seen and treated as the inferior gender.  They are now equal to men in society.
