In India today, there is a clash of modern technology and the traditional Indian ways. Some people still use traditional items, but also use new technology.  For instance, the first picture  shows a farmer using traditional farming methods, but there are power lines in the background. In the second picture it show an elderly man wearing traditional Indian clothing, while talking on a cell phone. Even though modern technology is somewhat new in India, it is being caught on to quite fast. India's clash between modern and traditional shouldn't be a clash, though. It should be more of a cooperation, because modern mixed with traditional can have the best results.

Old man:Hello Son!

Son: I plowed the fields today.

Old man: What oxen did you use?

Son: I used Rahul and Rohan.

Old man: Did the power lines get in the way?

Son: Nope.

Old man: Well, I just bought a new cellular device today.

Son: Why? Your old one was fine.

Son: Dad, did you go out into public with your traditional clothes again?

Old man: Yes, they are from my ancestors.

Son: Dad.... You need to wear more modern clothes.

Old man: I also collected water from the well.

Son: OK great, we can have soup for dinner!
